History

May 1967	Yayoi Fujii founded Nisshin Shipping Co., Ltd. as agency business for overseas shipowners (capital: 30 million yen)
1968	Purchased SHINEI MARU (5,300 DWT) as first owned vessel
Oct 1984	Delivered first new building vessel "NISSHIN TRADER (41,642DWT)" at Nipponkai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
Sep 2012	Awarded the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity by the Italian government for the company’s contribution to the development of the maritime shipping industry in Italy
Nov 2017	Ordered 40 newbuilding vessels, including Kamsarmax, Supramax, and Handymax, on the occasion of the company's 50th anniversary, bringing the total number of owned vessels to 100
Apr 2020	Ordered six of Japan’s first LNG Dual-Fuel chemical tankers
