Our Environment Efforts

In 2020, we were among the first to place orders for two 19,900 DWT-class and four 33,000 DWT-class liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel chemical tankers, which were completed in 2022. Among these ships is EVA GOLD, the first LNG-fired chemical carrier owned by a Japanese shipowner, which has a track record of reducing GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions as a pioneer in environmental investment.
As a countermeasure against marine and air pollution, which is also a problem in the maritime shipping industry, we are committed to earth-conscious development by carefully examining next-generation bunker fuel oils with leading operators at home and abroad.
In anticipation of the changes of the times, we will continue to take on challenges to stay ahead in the overseas shipping business.
