Message from the President

Since its establishment in 1967, Nisshin Shipping has continued to grow as a ship owner in the maritime shipping industry for more than half a century.
Today, we have more than 100 vessels, which we charter out to leading operators both at home and abroad.

The maritime shipping industry is a very challenging industry constantly facing an ever-changing market.
In our early stage of establishment, we have provided foreign crew manning and agency services to shipowners in South Korea and Hong Kong.
These efforts supported our growth and served as the foundation for building credibility in the industry.
Subsequently, we purchased secondhand vessels and expanded our fleet, consisting of 30 to 50 vessels. Assessing the changes and trends in the global economic environment, we have thereafter and to this day expanded new building vessels, started with NISSHIN TRADER in 1984.

In order to achieve a sustainable future, concern for the marine environment is our top priority.
The pursuit of environmental protection and sustainability is an important responsibility not only in business but also for the next generation.
We are committed to creating a sustainable future by connecting the world while building transparent and trusted relationships with our stakeholders.

Our fleet consists of fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vessels, with an average age of 3.5 years (as of October 2024), which is highly valued by operators around the world.
We are and will continue to be dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of operators and contributing to global development as a whole.
In the midst of the ever-changing international situation, we will continue to strive to make a further leap forward by leveraging our experience and proven track record.
